Wet residue could mean that your filter is clogged or the grind settings were too fine. Run a filter flush and/or a clean shot in the App.
Alternatively, it may be a clogged spout - If you look closely at the spout, you'll see a cross shaped divider splitting it into four holes. Using a needle or paperclip, poke each of those holes and give them a bit of a stirring motion. Then a clean shot or two from the app (same menu as cleaning) should flush any debris out.
