You do not have to be connected to WiFi to use the Spinn Maker to make some of the drinks available. There are 7 drinks (4 custom, 3 default) that can be brewed from the buttons on the front of the Spinn Maker.

You will however need to have a steady WiFi connection in order to get the latest firmware updates, customize your drinks, get new recipes, run cleaning cycles, get alerts/notifications, etc.
